ben weer aan een nieuw project begonnen, dacht dat het leuk was jullie ermee lastig te vallen smilie

het wordt een gevechtseenheid, met een spinachtige basis voor een ronddraaiende gunturret.

update:

started on the lifting mechanism, the gun is on a platform that will fold down into the main body shape when the spider is moving.
it will fold upwards when in combat situation...

also started on a idea for the legs (not fully worked out yet)

the idea is that it can fold open, and a stabilizing thing rolls out, meant to tighten the spiders grip to the ground.

theres also an animation of the think unfolding:

kritische noot bij de animatie:
- hij hangt op deze manier even 'vrij' in de lucht, in deze tijd kan ie natuurlijk naar beneden vallen.
- ik weet niet hoe groot dat ding is vergeleken bij de gun, maar anders is het misschien iets te fragiel uitgevoerd

Indien 6 poten kun je de machine eerst 3 poten laten uitklappen, daarna andere 3 smilie

daar is het mechanisme op deze manier niet geschikt voor, de voet klapt uit op het moment dat de poten al uitgeschoven zijn, werkt niet zo goed naar mijn idee

made a rough model of what the whole thing should look like when done, the main layout.
also i changed the legs, made them more robust so to say, plus the plates that fold out can be bigger this way.
