Mensen,

Deze al wat oudere film had ik al ooit gezien maar heb hem recent in een dvd-rip versie nogmaals tot mij laten komen..

Mijn bescheiden mening is dat het een FANTASTISCHE afspiegeling is van de belevenissen van (hard) drugsgebruikers.
hee, don't get me wrong...ik vind dit absoluut geen aan te raden levensstijl maar gezien mijn (bescheiden) ervaring met geestveruimende middelen vond ik toch een aantal schrikbarend goed weergegeven overeenkomsten tussen wat ik zelf ooit meemaakte en hetgeen zich op het scherm afspeelde.

Het mooie aan deze film vind ik de absurde/subtiele humor die door de hele film verweven zit (hierdoor is het een "leuke" films om te zien).
Tegelijkertijd laat het verhaal de verschrikkingen van steeds verder uit de hand lopend drugsgebruik zien....

wat zijn de meningen over dit alles??

heb hem ook gezien, vond dat ie te lang duurde

vage film met wel wat gave momenten, maar geen topper

Een ding: als je niet wilt hebben dat je kinderen aan de drugs gaan ofzo: deze film laten zien aan ze... Wedje dat ze het hard laten..?

Ik denk dat als je hem aan je kinderen laat zien als "drugspreventie" dat je niet veel indruk maakt omdat de essentie van de film pas echt toeslaat als je er enige ervaring mee hebt denk ik.

dan raad ik eerder trainspotting aan..

DAAR zit pas een vette delerische afkickscene in!!!!!

(dat is trouwens gewoon een nog veel betere film als ik er zo aan denk)

Ik vind al die drugs films wel leuk.

Allleen heb ik er zelf helemaal geen ervaring mee, dus ik neem maar aan dat het redelijk klopt wat ik zie.

Vind persoonlijk Requiem for a Dream ook wel een mooie titel uit het rijtje...

en de film op zich vond ik wel heel grappig, maar niet heel goed.

Ik heb de perfecte oplossing:

Je zet je videoband/DVD van the matrix op precies hetzelfde moment aan als dat ie op veronica begint.
En als er dan reclame komt op veronica zap je snel naar je videokanaal. en als de reclame voorbij is weer terug!!

Kijk, Vintage lost het allemaal weer eens op voor je..

ik heb naar aanleiding van deze topic de film gedownload maar ik heb hem nog voor de helft afgezet omdat ik er gewoon geen reet aanvondt.

en nu ik mijn missie als taalbastard weer volbracht heb, rest mij maar 1 vraag: komt fear and loathing in las vegas eigenlijk wel volgende week? ik had het namelijk ergens bij iemand in de veronicagids zien staan, maar kan het bij ons in de microgids niet terugvinden.
